Default Jets Over Benbrook

A couple of pictures of one of our aircraft flying over Benbrook Lake last week. F-35B Lighning II, tail number BF-1

If you look closely, you can make out the Fort Worth Thunderbirds RC Clubs current and new flying sites on the edge of the lake.

Enjoy.

Paul,

Great pics....... did they vector the thrust down or just test opening all that up? and....... what airspeed must it be under to keep from ripping all that off?!?!?

Here are some links to keep this thread here for those of you modeling the F-35:

Smitty,

Just the doors this time. Close to engaging the LiftFan though if the weather improves.

Sorry, can't post any 'technical' info. Don't want to infringe into 'program proprietary'/ non releasable data.

Is there a published flight schedule or somewhere i could check daily to see if flights are going to be a 'go'

No.

We sometimes don't know what the schedule is.......... and we schedule them.
