doctor dan the paint man, you are doing and alsome job as always. we were taking bets on who is getting more excited on putting the paint down on the f-4, you or all of us. but with this said we still need to get you out of the basement and to the field. talk to you later berk

Little more paint work tonight - right wing tank. No clear yet, just base - but way cool regardless.........

Dan,

This F-4 is going too be kick ass. Without doubt, the paint scheme chosen is the most beautiful scheme I have ever came across on an F-4.
Can't wait to see it finished, but good things take time.

Prepping the stabs for Flite Metal. Sanded and polished the painted areas since I can't once the Metal is applied.

Started appling the Flite Metal to the stab undersides tonight. So far, so good, although I had hoped that the existing rivet patterns would show through more than they do. I guess when all is done I will have to go over them by hand to make them stand out better. All in all I think it looks pretty good.

It's amazing looking, even in primer! Especially when you think back to how it looked when you first started!
