The Phantom will be the first one in for paint, it's all but ready to start color now.

Good to hear Dan. Look forward to the finishing stage

Damn shame I have to go back in time to find a decent build thread. Not to mention that it is on my bucket list to see this F-4 done and flown before I croak. Dan,any progress updates. Billy, how's the move going? Been awhile since we spoke.

Hey Ronnie, Dan has been working on his new shop, he said the F-4 is first in line for paint !
Been working for a Construction Co. for a bit and haven't had much time for anything between the long hours and the hour and a half to two hour ride each way.
But not complaining just happy to be working. Still not completely done with the move. Hope all is well, Billy

Hi Ronnie. Yep the building is almost finished, the hard winter delayed some things for months, only got the floor poured in the middle of July but have been there almost every night and every weekend working on getting it done. I have the drywall up next to do so I'm coming down to the end. And yes, the Phantom is first in line. I have quite a bit of other stuff in the works and the interest and commitment from others for more work has been outstanding. Here's a pic of the outside from a few weeks ago.

Dan,
The building is looking great! Can't wait to see the Phantom on the runway! I bet that Billy can't, either!

Dan,
Good to hear the building is coming along. Work already back logged, thats a good thing...right ? If you build it, they will come. I think that has more to do with your superior talent than the building though, although a nice facility does make life easier.

Ronnie

For some reason, I can't see the attachment.

The building is set up enough that I can do some work. Waiting on my new compressor, but the Phantom is back in the game. Last of the primer this morning.

Now the question will be, "Hey Billy, will we ever see it in the air once it's finished?"

Hey Bill. Pretty much been out of the hobby this past year and with the problems we had at the field and my work schedule I didn't make it out to do any flying.
Trying to make room for the F-4 in my basement so I can work on it at the house.
Hopefully by the time it's done I'll have a place to fly it..
