Default Flaps with the futaba 14mz

I am unable to set the middle postion for flaps on the 14mz. With the help of end point adjustment, I can get the flap 0 and full flaps to be accurate. However, flap 1 position is unequal. Is there a method to adjust that in the 14mz? I can use offset to adjust the middle position, but that changes the end points as well.. its like a viscious circle. I am sure I am missing something, because I was able to do this very easily on my 9cap using a technique on futaba 9cap FAQpage.

thanks

Well, put the flap stick or slider in the midlle point, i mind center, this is your flap 1 point, in this step adjust the flap manually, not with your radio to achieve the flap 1 point, then you can easely set your full flap and flap raised set up, i hope this help, take care...

Use the subtrim for each channel to set the middle position.

Or you can set the radio on the middle position. Adjust your linkage for the correct flap position and then use the ATV to adjust your landing and up flap position.

If both flaps are not mechanically identical, another option is to assign each flap to 2 channels (say flap2 and flap3) and then define a mix flap->flap2 and flap->flap3 with a curve or line.  By doing this, you can precisely control the position of each flaps such as they are exactly equal in all positions.

All this while I assumed that its a universal fact that both the flap push rods have to be identical in length...
