Default F9F-8 Cougar colour schemes

Hi guys, Can anyone please point me in the direction of some websites with information and usable colour profiles and paint codes etc. for the F9F-8 Cougar. Looking for some interesting and different schemes?? I really like the brighter white and orange/red based U.S. Navy reserve colours... Only decent site I know of so far seems to be "Wings Palette"- http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww3/f/807/3/19

Any further information for colours would be greatly appreciated...

Cheers- Marty

Wow!! 100 thread views so far and Iam seriously having to dodge the tumble weeds on this one
I guess Iam not alone assuming a variety of decent Cougar documentation is seriously hard to come by?

For sure color reference I suggested this book:

http://www.amazon.com/Official-Monog.../dp/0914144332

You can find the exact colour code and scheme for F9F and other Navy airplanes of the '50.

By the way, I prefer the blue colour scheme for the Cougar:

Eric, Colours everywhere??? please send me those website links...
I have already tried the obvious sources such as Airliners.net etc and so far simply nothing out there anywhere that I can find covering the orange and red drone schemes Iam chasing. A few exist for for the blue schemes and even the grey's but nothing usable that I have come across so far for drone schemes. The Panther is another story all together... info everywhere! not so the Cougar at least when it comes to decent colour profiles that can be used for accurate and detailed paint guides that I would like.[:@]

Thanks Martin, That looks like the best source yet! I will be chasing that one up for sure. I have the same two book series from them for the Panther, great publications with stunning detail and info...

Cheers- Marty
