Default Have you heard of BLUEJET?

I have a tendency to open up cans of worms, so forgive me if this has been discussed. I ran across this site and I cannot believe the prices! I may order a couple at those prices!
Are these FB airplanes?

BlueJet....Sounds like something you get when you have not flown in a while.

Yeah, it appears they took a page out of Skymaster's book and created a company to sell "budget" airframes, like SM did with Extreme Jets.

At those prices, there is not going to be a shortage of "takers"!

Their kit prices are less than SM's shipping cost to the US.....I am also a little curious about the lack of any detailed photos...'we make you special deal...you send money and we send you foamie jet'.

You will regret buying anything Fly Eagle! It doesn't matter how cheap it is it is still overpriced for junk. When it falls apart in the air you will damage your turbine, servos, rx, batteries ect...
I know first hand as it happened to me

George, if you refresh the page it is out, I'm just wondering how much does a complete kit cost them ? that should not be far from the 300$ , anybody knows?

My guess is that this is a "custom friendly site" for one of the chineese factories to avoid sales taxes for their customers.
Ie. They ship a jet with invoice and box marked with Blue Jet and the web adress. Invoice says $300, so a lot of money to save if you have high sales taxes like some European countries does (we have 25% VAT).
If the customs checks the web adress, they will see the jet in the box matches the one with $300 value in the web page and slams the OK stamp.

I've think I've seen some of those planes somewhere before....

25% VAT on imported stuff? That sounds like a excessive import tarriff vs value added. How does that work?

No. 25% Value added on all imported goods. If I'm running a business and sell a flower I've picked, I have to ad 25% to the goverment.
Same 25% sales tax in the other Scandinavian countries, except they are mebers of the European union and we are not. Rest of Europe have 15-19% VAT I beleive...

This may be motivation enough to order a lot of kits before. Or build a gin mill for personal consumption. Can they tax that too?

What % does the government take from your paycheck?
