RE: Boomerang Intro Color Codes
Stobe - Thanks! Yes, the Oracover Ferrari Red corresponds to True Red in Ultracote (HANU866), and is a perfect match.
For anyone else searching this, here are the Ultracote colors I found that match:
Red: HANU866 True Red
White: HANU870 White
Blue: HANU885 Midnight Blue
Yellow: HANU884 Cub Yellow

Sluggo,
Have you maidened your L-39 yet? I went to Speedworld in Phoenix a couple weeks ago with the Bobcat and new Ultra Flash - great time.
Regards,
Gus

RE: Boomerang Intro Color Codes
Hey Gus,
Not yet. I've run it up and she's all set to go. It's a scheduling deal now. I want Rob Baker to do the maiden, and then I want to fly it on a buddy box with him first before I go solo. Between my schedule, weather, field availability, we're having a heckuva time finding a day that works. Anyway, he says flying the L-39 will be no big deal, that it flies like a tamed-down Flash; but, I will need to be a little careful, that I can't reef it around like I do with the Baby Boomerang, especially when in the landing pattern.
I will say this, though. The P-120 in the L-39 spools up noticeably faster than the P-70 in the Boomer. That will be nice.
