Mine are screwed at the moment but will be glued and screwed after painting.

Best place IMO for ref on a SG Hawk build is Marc S's old build thread. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-j...-manual-6.html

Post 138 has a shot of the fences. David Gladwyn also has done some really nice work on a more scale fence setup.

Hi Tobba

thank you very much. This is exactly what I was looking for. It both addresses the direction and the issue with binding.

thanks again.

Iconel is there any chance I could get a set of the parachute hinges as well as the 3D pod as well? My email is [email protected] if we could discuss I would appreciate your assistance.

Couple more questions. Did your vertical fin tube come with a cardboard tube to glue in your fuse? For the wings do you glue the front antirotation pin in the wing or fuse? I assume you glue the carbon fiber sleeve for the front pin in the opposite. Same for the rear pin do you glue it in the fuse?

Did you use them? Any answers to the other questions about the wing tubes?

So yes mine came with a phenolic tube for the fin. This needed to be glued in and I added some carbon toe wraps for some strength.

My stainless tubes are glued in to the wings with carbon in the fuse.

I will re do the hydraulic rams... maybe a little nicer. A few pics attached.

How about the rear tube? Do you glue the little tubes in the fuse or wings?

I don't like gluing tubes in... just something I have never done.

Mine will be semi permanent in the wings with an M3 cap screw of some kind holding it in place.
