Check out the Skygate virtual thread. Marc Scully has a good solution here. Obviously a larger gap will help too.
Not sure what page.

They will never work as you have them, the secondary door will jam on the main door. What you need to do is slightly extend the edge of the small door (using polyply or similar) so that it overlaps the large door, by about 3mm. You then create chamfers on the large door edge and the small door edge so that as the large door moves inwards , relative to the small door, the small door, as a result of the chamfered edges "slides" over the main door. The chamfer on the small door is on the inside surface , the chamfer on the main door is on the outer surface. You then also get a very neat and close fit, in fact with a little patience, perfect fits and NO jamming !
I have used this technique on both of my AW Hawks and on my SkyGate and BVM F4 all of which have these small doors sliding over the MLG door. It works to perfection.

Hey Guys, David is correct. On the Skygate Hawk, we have the option of cutting the large door a little larger and that helps the small door to overlap it and that would solve the problem. Otherwise, even with a little metal lip, it is hit and miss unless you make a large gap.
