Hi All,

Anyone out there using Jeti and specifically their MSpeed IAS? Interested in where you decided to position the pitot tube.

Thanks for any guidance.

Yes I use a JETI radio and airspeed sensor. I drilled out the end of the pitot tube and packed the inside with cotton balls so it will not slide back. I also sealed(glued) the brass tube to the aluminum with my wife's clear nail polish. Needed several coats. If you ever need to remove can release with acetone.

WOW!
What happened?

Was this an internal turbine failure?

Wow! Glad it worked out good for you! At our field with a north wind, we rotate right over a tree line with a river right behind the trees. A turbine failure at the wrong time would be catastrophic
