Thomas (and anyone else)

If you have the Realflight Simulator I have the Futura file from TomaHawk which you can open in the aircraft editor, spin the 3D model around to any position you like and print off ready to play with your kids' colouring pencils!

Cheers,
Mark

OK, now to make myself really unpopular - it's for Aerofly, not Realflight Sorry [&o]

Well,
I finally made up my mind, and ordered a Futura!
I was VERY sceptic when I saw the schemes it was shown in at JetPower last year (and also this year), but seeing Ali's Futura (done in vinyl), I'm sure it's "just" a matter of the scheme selected (it's butt ugly in the "orange'ish colors at JP).

Now, I have a set of Behotec C50 retracts here, I have not been able to get any measurements etc of the Futura, so I wonder if any of you Futura owners could do me a favor, and do some measurements (I have attached a picture with some lines on it, A,B and C) ?

I know I could just wait for the plane to arrive, but I have to wait 17 weeks! for it, so I might as well figure this out before it arrives

I´m first trying to create a painting scheme that convinces me to place an order [sm=bananahead.gif]
Ali's Martini scheme is great but i want more 'screaming' colors.
Maybe something similar to this but i'm still trying..

I think that will look good in real life. Put a black pin stripe between the colours and the white, also maybe change the canopy shape a little.

Also try it with just the fin and wing lettering and add other logos to that as you go.

And make the tail white sweeping like the wing.

Hmmm, maybe I should order one....

It's like the BMW X6 (inflated car/SUV), it's different, expensive, & people love it or hate it. I love both, I think the Futura is beautiful/ Futuristic, & Original.. as in (not another BVM clone)

Hi,

This us an "unusual" color scheme for a Futura (the large version) that a guy here in Sweden made recently.
Powered by a swedish Hawk 190R with about 42 lbs/19 kgthrust, plane ready to fly weigh including fuel 53 lbs/24 kg.
The police cars in use here where he got the inspiration from is as You can see in picture below.
There is also a sound system in the plane... whi-whi-whi...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=xAMJBQ1WRdo

The plane and police car side by side:
http://www.rcflyg.se/forum/showthrea...l=1#post274071

Before it was "enhanced" with police markings it looked like this:
