Can you post a picture of the stab mount, moved the rear of the stab mounts up so that the elvevators are level with the rear of the fues.
Thanks

Test flew my TBM DV8R today. Flew very well with very little trimming required. A slight bit of up evevator was required. Will also have to add more elevator down trim for the recommended flap settings. Power is a P-120SE, changed gear on mains to Robarts with 4'' BVM wheels and brakes and used the Robarts struts from a PCM crashed orignal giving a very high stance and good clearance for the stab when flaired for landing. The nose gear is the TBM gear. Also moved the rear of the stab mounts up so that the elvevators are level with the rear of the fues. Landing was accomplished with no crow and was a non event except the nose wheel did not come down. Appears to be some binding with the steering arms on the retract and the mounting plate. Minor damage on the nose section as a result. Overall, pleased with the flying chacteristics. They appear to be very similar to my orignal PCM DV8R.

Wow that's a nice tidy set up. I have the same paint scheme and am just getting started on mine -finally. Like the way you opened up the sides to allow for more air flow to the engine. Did you paint the canopy yourself? Mine came with the unpainted canopy and I'm not sure how to get it to look like yours.

Can someone please give me the width of the center section of the wing with the tips removed? Just wondering for transportation purposes how wide the plane is with the wing tips removed while its sitting on its gear. Also what is the width of the stab? Thanks.

That will be a perfect combo for this jet. Go thru the retracts, clean them up, locktite everything on the retracts. I also extended my retracts 1". This is a personal choice I made to give me clearence between the tail and ground.
Set up a crow mix and you will love this jet.

If anyone is interested, I have a new, never been flown, DV8R kit that was professionally built. It has Robart retracts and servos (JR 8411's) already installed. Its Monokote covered, yellow on the top and black on the bottom - ready for turbine install and some graphics to jazz it up. It does have the kit's one-piece wing, but I'll make someone a heck of a deal on it...
