It was a very strong breeze down the runway so opted for half flap. Worked perfect the other 3 flights that day. I just goofed up on this one.

Flown mine a lot over the last 2 years and the vinyl scheme I applied was beginning to look very rough. Stripped back and have been doing a lot of filling and sanding to take out the worst of damage I did ripping the nose off a long time ago. Stripping the canopy revealed the scorch marks from the 200A ESC that exploded reminding me of this thing being barely pushed around by a cold air propulsion system. Got a few radical unique schemes in mind.

Guys!

What is the perfect CG reading for 2.5M futura for a perfect sports flying? Not too much tail heavy nor the nose!!

From memory, go for on the wing tube for 'nice' flying. About 1/4" behind for a more 'neutral' setup.

All good except I don't like that much expo .also found a little negative expo on down elevator helps with inverted flight and my CG is only 5 mm behind tube. But I'm sure 10 mm will be fine. CG range appears rather broad on the futura's

I agree. Even I have increased the throw on negative elevator for better inverted flight. Aileron throw is way too much in the manual, you may go down on that. I am flying (1.9m) with 20mm CG and now going further to 25mm. Lands like a shuttle I fly at a very very short strip.
