RE: Jets over Pampa 2010
A great weekend and many thanks to the Koen and the Pampa MFC. The weather was glorious on the saturday but with a stiff cross wind at 90 deg to the flight line. Made flying interesting, but most flew regardless of the conditions. Sunday was nice to start with but it developed into showers later. We were all very grateful for the large tent hangar that had been erected as it saved models getting wet.
For me the best plane there was the Victor of Andy Johnson and he flew it and the airbus with great skill. There were lots of superb planes and plenty of action.

RE: Jets over Pampa 2010
Hello pilots,
Thanks to you all for making our 20th Jets over Pampa such a great succes, we hope to see you next year on our
21st Jets over Pampa on July, 23 and 24, 2011.
It is of course not only in my personal name but also from all our club members. They are doing lots of effort every year again.
Koen senior
PS: Koen junior was faster in thanking you all, he is also flying faster than his daddy ... .

Incredible recovery, very few of us could react to fly out of danger at knife edge, that is the difference between exceptional skill and the average flyer, great to have it on video.

"Sent" my mate over to get few static pics(swmbo ran off with his big camera). I'll try to be there next year myself, hopefully with something to control!

Another great Pampa Jets, thankyou to all of those at the club that put in so much effort to make it happen.
I must say sorry to anyone who I scared with my mistake on Saturday. I am deeply embarrassed and can blame nothing else than myself for pushing that little bit too hard.
On a more positive note. Thanks to Christous, Nico and all of the dutch guys that were so kind and friendly with there delicious BBQ on Saturday night. I cant wait till we can do it all over again at Jets over Cyprus.
Regards Al

Thanks to everyone of the Pampa Model Fighters Club for a fantastic weekend!
But!
It would be great if we at the camp could get more opportunity to shower ..
Probably, we will be back next year with more Swedish and Norwegian jet pilots.

RE: Jets over Pampa 2010
There are already more and more videos available on YouTube about the event, like this one :
These guys flew at 404 km/h, but the fastest must have been the BVM KingCat of Maikel and Koen Achten Jr with the JetCat P-200... my radar gun was limited to a max of 480 km/h (300 MPH) and could not read it...

For an incredibly ugly airplane, that Victor is freaking gorgeous! Always amuses me how the British aerospace industry can come up with some of the most beautiful and some of the most hideous airplanes..
And before anyone says ANYTHING.. I'm 100% denying the existence of the Boeing X-32 JSF prototype. LOL..
