Just noticed the large 1/3.5 Hawk is now listed under "products" at the top of the Skymaster page. May have been there before but I haven't seen it. When you click on it, a bunch of Chinese characters come up but that's about it. Any more updates?

Hello Friends I finished these days my Hawk, then soon I'll fly, I followed all the discussions and I would say that I have been very helpful. my model weighs 17.5 kg with full and full Tao and main tank with about half a litre of fuel, as per your advice I shifted the center of gravity at 21 cm, I just doubt that the manual recommends putting the aileron excursion to 1.8 cm...... I seem to be too many!
How far is the most suitable according to you?

Thank you
Alexander

Alexander is ok to use 18mm aileron throw. I use 18mm aileron throw with 30% expo on my Hawk and it fly's very smooth and nice.

As we see the model and 'still some' heavy on the front, ..I have left to take away the last 120 grams of lead.. another couple of flights to be finalized and then will be 'even better .......

Hi Guys,
Is the standard Kevlar Fuel tank big enough or have you added another tank.
Regards

John

Hi,
Supplied fuel tank is 4L. I use one evoJet 180 turbine and for 6 minutes flight + taxi for takeoff and landing it consume 3L.
So, I have one litter for go-around. I had an extra 2L tanks and I have installed on my Hawk but I fil it only with 1L of fuel. So, I have 5L instead of 4L. I plan ti use this extra tank for smke oil in the future.
It is up to you what you want to do.

Hello,
Thanks for the reply, My idea is similar . The main Tank is just enough but i am going to run a Jet Munts 200 xbl and would like to carry a little extra fuel . Any suggestions on Tanks and position.
Thanks

John

Make a crate on top if the intakes. I have 50 oz Dubro tank on top. 10 minute flights with about 1,5 liters to spare (Jet Centra Rhino).

Regards
Eduardo
