HELP Please


Hello to all i have a Formost 150 or 160 is version 2 i have this about one year in the box now i what to used.

ken i fly with JDE Hawk is 14+ thrust engine with out make modifications to the airplane

I would not suggest it I have one with over 50 flights now .If you make the mods they are real simple and don't cost that much except time the major mod is the carbon fiber spar all the way through the fuselage I used one from boomerang XL which is perfect fit. also we flew one with a wren 44 mine has 22lb thrust we fly it half throttle 90% time

The wing spar and ribs are extremely weak (balsa !!! / thickness 2mm) and totally unsafe to fly as is. See pics.

PS : this one had already the mod of the long tube and the carbon fibre on top of the mid wing.

You only see the internal severe damage when you carefully open the wing by removing the top skin. From the outside, you don't notice it at all.
I cannot repeat enough this kit is totally unsafe and needs to be rebuilt ENTIRELY what concerns the structure, and this is regardless of the kind of motor you're using.

We did not see any major differences between all those different so-called "types" (150, 160, V1, V2,...)
