Default Finished MFD's for my F-16

Finally, the screens are in and the videos are up and running, it's great to have live video, not just stills
slide show running. I know it's crazy, but a couple of times each year the plane is at a family day or an
exhibition somewhere, and then it's fun to see peoples faces! And just knowing it's there!!

The same way you see the ejection seat nomenclature on the side of the cockpit, or the "BFGoodrich" molded in the side of the tires....you don't. But when she is on the ground thiungs like this have great effect!

Like I said, my 16 WILL have these just so long as those who have figured it out help me do it!

Excellent work Tor, one stage up from the sequenced ones I used in the PC21, maybe my next project will get your 'full monty' threatment.....

Thanks, guys! It's fun to be crazy!!
Guillermo - Roar sent his display over to UK, we just could not get it working!

Jeteffx: About seeing them up in the air - I just ordered the FlyCam eco that has the
tiny camera on a small flat cable, it will be installed beside the pilots head so the
video will both look out of the cockpit and at the MFD's! Looking forward to that!!
(and the vapour trails that I tested from my car today..!!)

Guillermo has some very nice, small Oled displays complete with the electronics to run a video clip and a memory card holder to transfer the
video. It starts playing as soon as the power is turned on - check this post for details:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_85...tm.htm#9272026
Mine were made from 2 Chinese MP4 watches with 1.5" Oled screens. I took out the screens and electronics from the watches, made two
video clips from an F-16 flight sim and some "aerial video" from Google Earth, and installed it all in my cockpit.

Marc - that is one beautiful model!! Have you flown it yet?
The displays look great, and very large and visible - one of the problems with the
F-16 is that the MFD's are so small, I even have to mask the 1.5" displays down
to 2/3 of the screen size to fit. Looks good, though!

I built it for Ali Machinchy, unfortunately there was a problem with the clear top coat that had been applied so it had to go through the paint process again, hopefully it should be ready for some flying this season, might get to do a few show outings, and really hope to see it at Jetpower this year.

Your work is first class ( I know Guillermo has done alot in this venture as well), taking the sequenced screens I made in the PC21 to the next level, great work to all you guys, might just have to get a friend to design a driver especially for these screens, then load in your SD card, hook up your chosen screens and switch on using a spare channel on the Tx...mmm
