AR 9000 not going into bind mode???
I've been having problems setting up Jet tronics brake & Gear valves.
In an attempt to sort them I have been trying all night to rebind and cannot for the life of me get the bind lights to come on, with the bind plug still installed the radio will still work as normal proving the rx is not in bind mode.
Anyone else ever had this problem?
I've tried the bind plug direct into the bind port, through the charge switch lead and supplied power via another channel and the data port, all fail.
Help please!
Gary.

RE: AR 9000 not going into bind mode???
Gary,
I haven't ever had this problem, but maybe I can make a few suggestions. First be sure the transmitter is OFF. Remove the power to the receiver. Put the binding plug directly into the receiver bind port. plug your battery directly into the receiver. The transmitter should still be OFF.
The receiver should now go into the bind mode(LEDs flashing transmitter OFF). If they flash go ahead and turn the transmitter ON in the bind mode.
If you do this all in this sequence, it should bind. If not, you've got a receiver problem..

Looks like I've got a reciever problem then, tried all that.
Also tried with both remotes connected and disconnected.
Rx works ok, had two flights yesterday, but no good if I can't rebind.
I can't find any reference to anyone having this problem on the whole of the net, trust me to get one!

RE: AR 9000 not going into bind mode???
For you guys that replied I spoke to Horizon UK today and it is apparently the first time this fault has been reported for an AR9000 receiver.
I have returned it today and will update you on their findings,
Gary.

RE: AR 9000 not going into bind mode???
I told you guys I would let you know the outcome of my problem, this may help others in the future.
A new AR9000 was sent to me today from Horizon, says an awful lot about their great service, 3 days after sending I have a new rx so I can fly that model this weekend, well done Horizon uk!!
The fault of the binding lights not actuating was confirmed, the reason is not known so presumably the rx will go back to Spektrum for analysis or the scrap bin!
So, to confirm, it is possible to get this fault on an AR9000 so if it happens to you the procedure is as I did.
Thanks to the people that replied,
Gary.
