I will be attending this. I would be more than happy to volunteer my time to assist you guys in any capacity needed. I'm sure an event like this requires a tremendous amount of time and effort to organize and moreover there are probably hundreds of tedious tasks that will need to be done. Count me in if you need a hand.

Roger,

Have you announced a process or events in which USA Team Members will be chosen yet? If so, I must have missed it. What is it?

Hi Roger and Dewey,

Just had notification that NewZealand has a full team of six, with a possible requirement for a flyoff to get the final places.

The team is very pumped, and looks like they will bring models all based on NZ Air Force aircraft - should be a great hit with everyone.

The team and models, as it sits at the moment, and yes things can change over time - both plus and minus, is:

Brian Borland Vampire
Tony Withey MB339
Rene Redmond Strikemaster
Dave Hodges/Peter Mcgregor A4 Skyhawk
Peter Brown Vampire
Colin Austen Panther

Hope all is well over your side of the pond.

Hello Roger,
The 3 of us, me, my wife and my jet friend Carl David Hamilton another "jetadic" are very interested to visit the JWM in the US and expect to be there.
But it is unlikely that we will fly in the contest.

Happy landings,
Rafn

Hi Roger

We still have really winter in Switzerland and unfortunately, all runways are covered with a lot of snow. [&o]
Hence, we look forward to the coming Jet-Season.

GOOD NEWS: We already have asked all our friends to join us to the next JWM 2011 in US. The first
tentative numbers look great.

One complete Team (Swiss Jet Scale Team)
1 TM
6 Pilots
6 Helpers

Supporters, Families and Friends
40 - 60 person [X(]

Hopefully, we do not overstrain you with that. You can imagine, the interest is great and we are convinced to
have a wonderful time with you in the US. Of course, happy too to see all our friends again from all over the world.

I would say One team Manager along with a wife and two kids, two or three pilots (one of which acts a the Manager) with family and one or two helpers, perhaps without families. This would total four team members and about six family members.

I`m Martin Lefebvre IJMC rep for the Canada. Roger i think that i will be able to have a full team for 2011. My fellow Canadian have no idea how a jet master is suppose to run . I will be the team Manager and pilot myself. Please if some Canadian Modeler contact you or someone from your team about the competition just give them my e-mail adress .I will informe all Canadian modeler via our MAAC magasine soon on how the Canadian team will be put together.
I`m sure that JWM will be the greatest of all others a+

(Say Martin the Canadians have a great start in the Olympics...CONGRATS)

Dear Sir,

At the moment I am on a business trip to China, but I will make a provisional questioning of possible participants asap.

My initial quess is, that there might be 3...4 (Finland) pilots interested and from them maybe 1...2 will actually make it in the end, depending on the economical situation closer to event.

Anyhow, I will have a closer look to the issue, once I get back home.

BR,
Jussi Korolainen
