Default Jet for P-60

Guys, I am trying to decide what jet would be the best for my P-60. I am looking for something (less expensive) than the composite high priced jets that I see on the market. Even a old model would be fine with me. Let me know what you think is a good flying scale or sport jet that is on the low cost scale. thanks

Those are good jets but I'm looking for something that will be fast. I have a boomrang now and although its a great plane, I am now looking for something fast.

OMG that Jet Mach is even uglier than a reaction, never thought it was possible ! why would you spend that amount on money on something that looks that bad and then still have to build it.

What about a nitro planes Bobcat or Falcon 120 if you want some speed for cheap

Or scale type an AMD Hawk, plenty of variants on ebay

If you want to build then a Ziroli Panther

I like the starfire and actually had one with a DF in it. That may be my choice.

dont be a jacka**

The JetMach trainer was never meant to look like a Bandit. It's purely form to function and it does it better than any other.

A P-60 will run just fine in a JetMach Super Sport and I think it looks great.

There's a BVM Sabre kit in the classifieds for 400 bucks. If I didn't already own one, I'd have already bought it. Yeah, you're gonna have to build it and get some stuff to finish it, but it's scale and will haul the mail with a p-60. Plus, it'll be worth $$$ once its done. Watcha waitin' on? An invitation?!

Yea I know, but since I am one of those people with limited building skills, I don't think that would be a good buy for me. I need a ARF with good step by step instruction and then I can do pretty good on the building.

Skymaster F16 with a P60 in the tail. Good gear and can be built light. Flies well with plenty of speed and will slow down nicely.

Craig.

Mr. Matt,,,,I like the stingray, but I have read where it will snap at low speed if power is applied. Any thought on that.

Tamjets 1/12 scale f16. 500 bucks, full composite, and a well made plane overall. Cheap on fuel, gear is only 200 bucks, I have one, and the quality is fantastic. Im putting a wren 44 in mine. theres videos on www.tamjets.com of the small 16 running the p60. weighs 10 lbs, with 13 lbs of thrust. You do the math And Ihear they are very easy to fly, for a scale model anyways

Well, thats 3 great models to choose from. Stingray, starfire and the F-16. I owned the starfire with a DF and really liked the way it flew. Difficult choice but at least now I have some to think about.

Tamjet A4 is relatively cheap in kit form and is perfect for a P60.

Alternatively, an Electra ARF is a great option. BVM has a turbine install kit and so does Tam.

The is also the Composite-ARF spark which can be converted to a P60 (Tamjets install)

Cermark F-16 all the way. The P-60 is perfect for this jet. Has any one seen this with a P-80. I'm wondering if it would be ok?

I also like the look of the Sting, do you know what it comes with, i.e. pipe, UC or is it just a bare airframe?

Also has it got composite wings or are they foam? can't see from the web-sits?

Thanks in anticipation
Mike

No but the stall is bad. I have had one for years and it is not hard to fly at all, and it is fast, I think faster than any of these models I have seen listed in this thread other than the Sting as I have not seen one. The stingray is fast because it is very small. and I think the kit is $350 or something
