Looking forward to it Roger. I'm sure it'll garner a large amount of entries.
Who's going for it?
I dunno, competition is looking pretty stiff.
It should be noted that the venue is set up for the annual Route 66 Jets so our runway 4,003' by 75' is closed to full scale and does not intersect with the another runway of similar dimensions.
The Airport & City can accommodate a rather infinite number of competitors, helpers, supporters, family, spectators, tents, motor homes, etc.
Oh yea, I posted the Qualifier Tuesday and received the first Registration from Bryce on Wednesday so who knows what the opportunity will produce?

This JWM-Q Banner is one of several that Jim Wright, our Coordinator with the Litchfield Airport Authority, had prepared for advertising our Qualifier. It will first be viewed at the Cal Jets V thanks to David Searles volunteering to post at their annual. I will be seeking similar volunteers for various events through out the summer.
It has been decided, due to popular demand, that our Qualifier will follow the AMA rules relative to weight limitations rather than the IJMC limits of 13.5kg & 20.0kg.
Also please remember there is no requirement to fly the same plane in the JWM Event that you used for the Qualifier.
It’s anybody’s guess as to the number that will participate but we are currently budgeting for 25. I suspect there will be more but will probably not know until the registration dead line.
It should be noted that all other IJMC rules for static and flying will be strictly followed.
Yea Bob, put what, the 7th set of tires on that F-100 and strut your stuff.
ALRIGHT, NOW YOUR ARE TALKING AN ALL AMERICAN PATRIOT ON IT'S WAY TO TOP GUN.
THISIS A VERYAPPROPRITATE SUBJECT FOR THE JET WORLD MASTERS QUALIFIER.
IT WILL BE MOST APPROPRIATE FOR THEJWM AT THE US AIR FORCE MUSEUM IN 2011.
GOOD FLYING AND GOOD LUCK TO BETSY AND SCOTT HARRIS.

So, any jet could be used to qualify? Are you basically saying that the qualifyer is a flight skill qualifyer and is not going to judge the scaleness of a jet etc? If so this is a huge deal as there is more time to get a jet ready.
