Staale

Both sides, as scale. I'll do more pixs when I'm back in the office, still unpacking everything and need to finish another project before I'll start it.

Wow.
Dual control horns, carbon gear flex plates, large wing tube, high component integration.
This plane is setting up new standards. Well done Andreas.

Peter

Come to Kehl and fly it on the trainer scheme You know you need to add to the list...
Build thread not till next week, I must finish the workshop hanger first, too many nearly finished models...I attack Ian Richardson style for the next week...
I'm also waiting on the P160 and Robart rams needed. Note the wood radio plate has holes pre drilled for Jet Tronic valves, JetCat valves, ECU and Fuel pump position...nice.

Geoff/Dick you guys might get a preview late March ;-)

Dave,
Will you be flying it at Florida jets?
Are you going this year?
Any idea of finished weight? Under 20 kg easy, or a struggle?

Alasdair

Not going this year, but Andreas is with his Tutor.
Yes, easily under 20kg even with smoke set up.

Thanks for the informative pics. Looks very temting!
Was a bit surprised to see that the canopy was not cut out and the glass not installed, or is it just not cut out on this pre-production model??

Normal CARF practise because of the amount that could be broken in transit...but it is something being talked about!
Quick and easy job.

Not sure if you vere talking about the gear doors, but I meant the acsess hatches on the top side in the nose. Are they on both sides?

Only managed to do a little more looking today, looks like servos will be 8411 elevators (too thin for 8711) everything else will take 8711, so I'll probably go that way on everything except nose steering where I'll use my favourite JR 579.
Rudder is designed for closed loop using pushrods.
Drop ins today who had a look were all impressed...

As long as you don't mess about with dye you'll be OK Dave, Everything - and I do mean everything - on the inside of my old Foxjet was blue...guess why?!!

Cheers,

No chance of dye, I'm kicking and screaming into the smoke game as it is. If it wasn't for the fact the Tutor has a smoke tank option it wouldn't be happening.

Stevie...guess so

I see Carf has some infor and pricing on thier web page:

http://www.carf-models.com/public_ca...ant&proId=2295

About 2500 USD.

Not clear though if the price includes gear. Probably not...
