Now this is a project that I am really, really, really looking forward to getting my hands on. For those that missed the previous thread.
Basically "MIBO" The company renowned for making the amazing A-10 kits no on their 4th Generation have decided to make a very limited run of a very special A-10. The idea is that the new Monster Hog is a step up from the older kit in every way ( Size, strength, detail, precision, reliability etc etc) Quite an achievement as I am sure any previous A-10 owner will testify. My G3 A-10 has to be the most impressive and reliable show models I have ever owned. So the idea of a bigger and better version has my thumbs itching in anticipation.
I am in regular contact with the owner of Mibo, and just this week we have two standard A-10's getting ready to leave from the factory to a new home in France. With the good news that these kits are almost ready came some sneak pictures of the Monster Hog. Nothing super detailed as yet as these are just the basic plugs ( Yet to be detailed ) But what it doe show is the size comparison! The smaller fins and rudders are not those from a plastic kit or a GWS A-10. Those really are the current G4 fins and rudders! [X(]
Get your orders in fast, as I know the numbers of these will be very limited ( 25 I heard )

Yea Ali we can hardly wait to get this in the shop.
I have 4 orders so probably will reserve another.

So this biggie will fly very scale like with a pair of 35 pound blowers and one should bring it home. A pair of 45+ pounders will certainly increase it’s agility. It just depends on your flying style.

Man that thing is going to be big. Looks like its all being cut on ren-board or something similar, on a CNC machine or foam cutter. Gonna be cool for sure!

If this statement is meant to be funny...I'm NOT laughing! If serious. Ok then..., we have discoved what happened to the units at Florida Jets. The new units have been re-designed with a positive locking system for high speed flight and the aileron/decelerons have been mass balanced to avoid any flutter in the ailerons. A full assessment report will be forth coming as soon as the new units have been test flown. As for the Mibo A-10 airframe, Bob Levine called me today to inform me that the AMA inspectors had come by today and could find ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with the wings or any other portion of the airframe as a result of the mishap. All I can say is the Mibo A-10 is the best constructed fully molded aiframe I've ever seen!!! I can't wait to see the new A-10 1/4 scale "Beasty" in person.

Watching the G3 & G4 A10's fly about was a pleasure, the sheer size is going to be impressive but this looks to have more detail on it also?

Mmmmmm I doubt it.
The normal size A-10 was too much for Milky to handle. What we need is a proper jet jock. Like the one who has been sitting on the fence regarding this A-10. Within 10 mins of me emailing him the latest tail photos he was back on the phone adding his name to the list. Even better when he said that he best have a spare one just in case!
Come on Mark. Stop messing around with all these smaller models which you know are just going down the same old route. It's time to do your definitive model! As you said, your already half way there with the turbine, and I am sure I know someone who will do you a great deal on another P-200 SX.
