Hey Bob great flight! The cg is from bob, the throws are from FEJ. I'm trying to get the video of the last two flights so we can compare. Once again awesome flight. hey bob will give you a call later tonight.

I thing C/G is fine seemed jest a bit nose heavy but could be all that fuel. took full up to get it off but it did take off nice. after first turn I went to high rates and every thing was fine. Trimed out nice and nothing was fluttering. Dang nose gear dident go up so I wanted to jest bust out some laps. I think I did get it a little slow as soon as I came off the gas it did that knife edge. when I was taxing back I seen the linkage dangeling. not sure it made it happen all by it's self but it flaping could of made some bad air to stall wing it was on that side.
What a great plane to come right out of it like it did.

No Great Pilot. That was a great save. The plane flies slow and smooth. Also bob thanks for all of those build videos w/o those i don't think i would have the courage to build the f-14. I plan on flying it this weekend will bring out video camera. Hopefully see you at Kentucky i'm buying the steaks and first lap dance

The guy filming the flight took this pic. and sent to Bob and he had me post it..most people would think this was a cartwheel in progress unless they read or watch video

Increadible saving!
On my Tomcat I had problems with the quality of the supplied push rods and ball heads.
I was able to pull the ball head of the push rod by hand. The diameter of some of the push rod threads were to small. I checked all of them and discarded about half of them, replacing them by new push rods...
Ihad the same problem on my FEJ 1:5.5 F-16...

i changed mine to dubro heavy duty ball ends on the ailerons but my elevators and rudder are stock. They have been fine so far no slop.
