Shui's scheme changes the thoughts again, after I fly Lex's UL I'll think again about a scheme that works for me!

Dave,

Another model where the scheme can change the looks of the plane. Lex's and Amir's Red/Yellow/Black is probably the nicest I've seen but I think all go plain white and take it from there.

After all, it's a new 2010 F1 season so new scheme ideas

Time to sell the F1 VJ I think (any takers) and in with an Ultra new toy......

Just the usual 160/180/200 power vs weight/fuel/residual thrust etc debate

Dave,

About a year on average!

Besides, there are simply too many quality toys out there nowadays to keep stuff for too long Anyway, you're not exactly a hoarder are you

Yep, 160SX has to be the way.

Cheers

I would like to consult with you: I chose to put in a P-200 SX !
1)The 3rd main tank to use as a extra fuel tank? or for smoke fuel? or get Another one and put one up and one down?
2)How about using 2 batteries A123 to get 4600Mah It will not be too heavy?

Amir,

It's going to get super heavy with a 200SX, 3 fuel tanks and large packs. What landing gear are you using?

I really like that color scheme. As far as the engine goes, it depends on the type of flying you want. Either way the 3rd tank should go for smoke. The two main tanks are enough for any engine.

I switched to the dreamworks struts and trunion on the Bohetec retracts, this is a great combo. The set screws bighting into aluminum struts is tighter then set screws into hardened pins.

Optional 3rd Tank and I Quote from Composite-ARF Instruction Manual :can be used to hold extra fuel if you fit a larger
turbine (eg: P200 or Olympus), or could be used to hold smoker fuel if you wish to fit a smoke system.

No, the beak location is just an illusion made by the angle the photo was taken,
it actually carry Zvika (name of the driver) and his car by its claws (or whatever it got there at the end of its struts)

Hi Amir

More i look at mine, the nicer it get's, glad you went for the same colour scheme. Ignore the instructions on the wings as they relate to the old classic type, you will find ammendment's all through the manual, be carefull and read all the book first.
Finished my wings, stab, fin. started on the fuz last weekend. DW did the canopy for me in smoke.
I am using third tank as smoke, as i think 5.9 ltrs + hopper + extra BVM hopper of fuel is plenty for any size motor.

I am also using dual 2300 A123 batteries. ECU is a Li MAG 3800.

Shui is using the two main tanks for his Big Block AMT motor and a Dubro 50oz tank for smoke.
