Mark,
Have you split the flaps into two pieces? The come as a one full length flap per wing but in the top picture (Jets Unlimited), it looks like they are down for the inboard part of the wing.
Also did you fit the new bearings to the wings? And did you set the CofG as per the FEJ instructions - at the front of the wing block?

Split flaps - interesting. Do you use the outer flap as an aileron, mixed in with the tailerons? Does not look like it is being used as a flap.

mark, very nice video!!!! I have just fitted out an F15 with 2 G booster 80 engines. How can i start these engines individually. I can start them from the ground terminal but they won,t hand over to the transmiter once they are running , can you help??? Thanks Phil

The real F-14 had full span flaps with full span slats. Slats = boundary layer control and increased stall alpha for a given wing section.
The model has tip stall tendencies because it does not have full span slats, like the F-14. I have watch the model tip stall on landings using the full span flaps, the outboard aileron is a good solution to prevent tip stalls.
