Or you might just want to wait a month or two for the new Purple P100. About the same size as the Merlin/Rabbit more thrust and JC quality. It will probably be a good one. Scotty
Is that wishful thinking, or fact

If it's fact, that just what I've been waiting for

A very good source of information for choosing a turbine can be found on the "GAS TURBINE PERFORMANCE COMPARISON" page
in RCJET International magazine available through Traplett. Here can be found a very good data base on practically all current turbine manufacturers.
Iam not recommending any turbine here but for me Ialways choose based on efficiency within whatever thrust range I require...since this is a measure of overall engineering, construction, and ecu programming.
if anyone needs a copy Iwould be happy to scan the latest chart and post it here!

geh3,
yeah it would be great scan the latest turbine performance comparison from rcji magizine so i could have a look thanks.
The rabbit Im leaning towards but FOR SOME reason the evo booster 90 also is attractive single fuel line etc.
The service requirements for the evo is a bit turn off though, I dont know maybe have to sleep on this a bit longer

Kingtight, another thing you may not have thought of and it may not matter to you, because the rabbit requires 2.5% oil as opposed to 5% in most other engines, it will cut down the operating cost. It will save you around $100 dollars vs other engines between the 25hr service intervals. So you can look at it as costing $150 every 25hrs for service of the rabbits vs a JC for example because of the oil savings. The JC will cost ?????? to have serviced.

Does anyone by chance have the data for the Jet Central Rabbit? I did not see it listed on the chart.

Thats an abstract statement, what data do you have to prove this out. What exactly is the spool time idle to max RPM?

Geeez, man! Ease up! I cut and pasted it off the jet central website! Must have included that in the cut and paste by accident.

The only way the orange will ever be the new "PURPLE" is when it is burping turbine wheel blades out it's behind at 2 thousand degrees!!!

Good try..

Oh, and yes i do pay for my motors.
We'll see....and I pay for all my own ENGINES too! [8D]

Buy the Jet Central Rabbit. Performance, service, warranty, great throttle response, reliable, light weight, and Eric will not have a dissatisfied customer. I have a Super Eagle, and a Falcon, both are great engines.
No issues. You can't wrong.
