Default SM 2M Viperjet pipe diameter please.

I need the inlet and outlet diameter of the SM pipe that is included with the ARF. If anybody has one they can measure it would be greatly apprreciated.

I measured mine in metric, sorry !

Dual walled pipe, tapered

Inner ID 85mm at front
Inner ID 70mm at rear
Inner wall thickness 1mm

Outer OD 100mm at front
Outer OD 85mm at rear
Outer wall thickness 0.05mm

Length inner 590mm
Length outer 562mm
Inner pipe is recessed from outer at the rear by 10mm


Bellmouth ID 83.8mm
Bellmouth OD 112mm
Bellmouth depth 28mm

Total length with Bellmouth pushed home 610mm

My kit is a version 2 delivered a couple of months ago, early versions may differ.

The inner and outer pipes should not be flush at the rear of the pipe. The inner should be shorter than the outer for cooling. U might wanna check with SM about this...none of my other SM pipes were ever flush at the exit. Sounds like u got a bad pipe.

Oops, my mistake, blind old git.

You are right, the inner pipe is recessed at the rear by 10mm
I've edited my original post to reflect this.
