I have one of the prototypes of the Jetmach, very similar to yours, I've stripped it down and am recovering it now. I'm not sure you could use Robarts on the wings, you would need extra balsa blocks in the right positions to have something to drill into and hold them. I'm not sure about your wing, but I'm sure there is a minimum of wood on the hinge line.

One question, where did you get the brake for your nose gear? I've been looking for one of these, save me $200 bucks, just need something simple that works.

Thanks,

Luke

HI All, This is my First Turbine build. It is a Shockjet with a K-80. Joe L. is going to help me out with the programing on the K-80. Here are some pics of the build. Is there any pics of the flaps using Robarts hinges on the shockjet?
Thanks Billy D

Du-Bro makes a simple nose wheel brake. I have one sitting in my junk box. If you want it... you can have it for the shipping price. (prob $3 for first class) PM me if you want it.

Out of interest I was wondering what people think is the best Value for money

K80 AT £1,200.00

or the New Jutmunt VT80 AT £ 1,400 ?

I think I would go for the Jetmunt

I'm curious to know how many hours of running time everyone has on their Kingtechs. Has anyone reached the first service interval?
Thanks

I have only had mine a short while and there is no way I will reach the service interval this year. Hopefully I can do it next year!

So far I am very happy with my K80F. The sound is amazing and it starts right up and runs like a top for me. It's so much easier than the early Jetcat gas start I did my Turbine groundschool with years ago!

Why don't you tell us in your broken english how Jetmunt is superior to the KingTech, better yet, on another thread for the sake of courtesy.
Otherwise, A spaniard endorses spanish, what a surprise...

I just got my K80F, my first turbine. I have read the instruction manual multiple times and the photos and diagrams are not the same as pump, valves, and the FADEC that came with my turbine. The instruction manual is not clear how to connect everything on the Kero start turbine, does anyone know of any published diagrams that accurately show how to hook up a K80F?

Thanks a bunch for the help, I want to make triple sure I have everything hooked up properly before I drive 115 miles to the nearest club with turbine wavered pilots that can help me with the maiden.

Regards,

Tom

Here you go... But add a fuel shut off between the filter and T. Always shut off fuel when done flying and only open it again when ready to start the turbine.

Your welcome.
The fuel shut off valve is a Festo 4mm mechanical type.

When is KingTech bringing out a p-20 sized engine?? Last year, I was told that they were thinking about it... but wanted to release some other engines first. Since then... the 140 and 170 have come out. Is it in KingTech's plans.... or should I just buy a JetCat??

Thanks for all the help guys. I have a 6mm manual cutoff but not a 4mm, so I will get the 4mm ordered and hopefully have it by the end of the week. The only other question I have is how do I get the 4mm tubing onto the fuel filter nipples that are much larger than 4mm? The manual says to heat up the ends of the tubing but that still seems like quite a stretch.

Regards,

Tom
