comp arf, Eurosport
I have a question for anyone that knows about this Eurosport from CompArf. I'm putting one together for a friend and the fin is made removable, but in the instructions, they say to make it permanent, Any ideas , one way or the other?
Thank you for any information.

Just had a look at the C-arf website and downloaded the instructions to see if anything had changed. According to the Evolution building instructions, it is left as removable. No where did I see anything about making it permanent. The vertical was a permanent fixture on the old style Euro... maybe that is the instructions you have.

With the Evolution version, the fin is left removable and the fin spar is glued into the FUSELAGE, not the fin. The instructions included with the Euro are for older version with the non-removable vertical tail and "big" hatch on the bottom.
I've got photo's of the euro i built this time last year if you would like for me to post them up, or if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I just did this step today on my new Evolution version. As Invertmast said the carbon rod glued into the Fuse. Then is just slides on and bolts in the front. I had to trim a little off the carbon rod as it was about half and inch to long. I did leave it 2mm long as the instructions say to make it tighten up as the hold down screw is put in. On my old original version the fin is not removeable it is glued completely. Hope this helps.

I dont have alot of pics of the fin area, but i can get some for you tomorrow. Here's some photos thru the build. I didn't get alot of pictures then, but i can get some of whatever you need. Its a pretty simple build once you figure some of the ''new'' stuff out that isn't in the directions.

Roger,
I did a build thread on our Danish Jet forum, although it's in Danish, the pictures are universal :
(I have since fitted Digitech's trailing link oleo's (ProLynx) to it (works perfect!)
