Graeme, I thought it was "double it and add thirty".
Rich, "Fimmvörðuháls" in Canadian is "big moose-***** mountain with missing top, eh".
It sounds a lot better with the accent especially if the speaker is wearing a toque.

To the British and Dutch Governments: There is no C in the Icelandic alfhabet, so when you ask for Cash, all you get is Ash...

Yes I too am impressed that the gentleman can spell ''Fimmvor........'' but can he pronounce it, reminds me of the Polish guy who went for an eye exam not only could he see all the letters he could pronounce the word.
And isn't Pompei a soccer club on the south coast of England?

SIdeshow - that's the one! I remember seeing a special on TV a while back about it - I think the ash also stripped the paint of the vertical stab and sandblasted the windscreens as well...

They must have bought George W. Bush's weather machine, which he got from the Japanese mafia a few years ago. Supposedly he used it on New Orleans. I guess now that he is out of office, he is free lancing, sort of like a Texas Jason Bourne.

Latest news is that because of the lack of wind the ash is not blowing away and is spreading to Europe, the Shuttle and Ferries are all full.

Had my EasyJet flight cancelled yesterday from London to Edinburgh. They refunded the £24.99 flight ticket cost. So had no option but to buy a train ticket – one way London to Edinburgh £135. There is some profiteering going on now.

I think it is global warming brought on by George and his weather machine! Al will prove it in a matter of time! Meanwhile on General Hospital will Sally find out that Jess has been having an afair on her with Betty, Mary, Donna, Shirley, Margret, Gina, Margo, Tina, Heather, Kelley, Brenda, one of the cue card holders and old man Jim? And what will Al have to say about it, is that the real cause of global warming? And was not the first weather machine invented on a soap opera? Did not the first Pit Bull come from George's ranch in Texas to help rule the world? And did not George have all the birds of the world mounted with tiny video camera's and exsposive devices!
