RE: Regulator for jets new Powerbox Gemini????
Yes, lots of us use them. It's really a higher current Sensor switch, which is very popular in the UK. The Gemini is also used by a lot of Futaba PowerJack users too. Most Jets don't need the higher current, without the benefit of a full Powerbox with signal amplifiers (for longer leads)
We use them in 50cc aeroplanes as the gyro take off runs the ignition system meaning only two batteries

I've been using these for a long time and have nothing but praise for them. I'll be fitting one to my new machine very soon.

I also have a Gemini in a Bobcat and it works perfectly. The new Baselog looks good as a simple battery backer too. It will be quite handy to have a LED screen with a running total of battery capacity.

The new generation of BEC ESC's are using switching regulators to enable the use of higher powered and more servo's, linier regulators restrict the amount of servo's you can run off the ESC's, so it would seem the same on a power bow of any kind that the switching regulator would be better.
