You can wrap the starter motor tightly with wax paper, slip the FOD screen (after its had a hole cut in it) over the wax paper and then put a nice bead of silicone around the edges. Once it dries, remove wax paper and you have a custom fitted fod screen.

Thanks Guys, I will try Walmart first.

Andy thanks for the idea, I will do just that. The fod screen is for the Olympus from the Netherlands and there really is none made for that engine. Or at least that I have seen.

I had bought a fod screen from Jet Cat, paid $35 dollars and it was a strainer cup just as what is sold at walmart. Difference is Walmart propbably charges $10 bucks or less.

Kevin, got to Target and find the set of 3 strainers (with white plastic handle and lip.....cut the handle off and you're good to go) for about $10. The middle sized one fits the OLY NL absolutely perfect...toss the other 2.....I tried Home Depot, Lowes, and Walmat wiht no luck......
