Default BVM Ultra Maiden

Last weekend saw the maiden of my Ultra Bandit. the build was typical BVM...everything fit perfect and was engineered to eliminate any guess work. the flight was rock solid (except my knocking knees) it took 3 clicks up elevator. built with all JR high voltage servos using 2S lipo's and no regulators.

Looking at the paint scheme it appears you went with E-power in your Ultra!
NICE work!

it is spot on the recommended CG, because i went with a single place canopy i had to stick about 5 oz way up in the nose.
it has a P200SX. started perfect first time. using the large fuel tanks. engine came up to full RPM in normal time. no UAT issues. it does have the dual feeds into the header, per BVM adendum.

Of course, but every turbine relies on an electric motor or 2 for that matter!

Congrats Kirk!

Scott, where do you have the CG on yours? Mine is right on the recommended CG I had to add a socket to the nose to balance it, and could really use the socket back in my socket set.

are you feeding fuel from the mains into the top 2 nipples on the UAT ?

If so, how do you fuel up your bird ?

PS - i see you got a pitot tube - how fast does she go ?

both tanks feed the center header with individual lines, then a single 6mm line to the UAT, so fuel up is in the standard method.
still have not opened it up all the way, new bird and knees still knocking. i think i got up to about 160 or so.

so 2 feeds into the center header, and the UAT works well all stock with a P-200SX ?

no issues at all. the P200SX made full RPM within seconds.
