Default Another hawk.

Hi Guys,

Just received 4 of these hawks here in India, these were ordered at the jetpower show in 2008 from a guy by the name of Stefan Wurm, been a long wait and still waiting for the landing gear to be delivered. Jet1A gear is what will go into this airframe. About the same size as the fox hawk.
Turbine is mounted in the Tail. Need to decide weather to go with a PST 600r or the Wren 44. I think the Hawk would end up pretty tail heavy with the 600R and could be a bit underpowered with the Wren 44 in our hot conditions. Suggestions welcome.

Chaitanya.

I saw it there as well. It looked very well detailed there. I didnt manage to speak to Stefan Wurm because whenever I passed from there stand he was not there and the other guys didnt know a lot about this model.

Looks very nice. How much was it if you dont mind me asking because I never got any replies to emails.

Keep us posted.

Jets Munt merlin 90 is a powerful little number, heavier than the Wren so not sure you will be OK weight wise.

Hi Paul,

I think we payed around 1600 Euros for each including L/G. Yes it is a pain to get replies back from Stefan, he hardly ever answers.

Marc the merlin 90 would be way overpowered for this baby even the Wren S.S. would be too much. If i centre mount the Pst 600R then i think it would be ok. Or else the 44 directly into the tail would be sweet and good for the C.G.

Chaitanya.
