Alright,I made my decision. After researching about best support and equipment,I decided to get JetCat P120SX(or P80SE if I will be extremely low on budget).30lbs of thrust is perfect for many airframes that I am looking at.380 ml/min at full throttle isawesome fuel consumption rate.Internal kero start is great.I have few guys flying jetcat here in Slovenia where I can ask for help.
I hope that I decided good.
Will depend on your airframe.

sent another ECU with increased RPM limits instead.
At least Ram was honest to rate the Low thrust R1000 to R750plus. Onlike some MFG that would still try to sell a 35# engine thats only putting out 30# as a 36# engine lol.

They used to say nobody ever got fired for buying IBM. Similarly, you'll never go wrong by buying JetCat. I have a P120-SX and it is a superb engine. And if you have any questions, you'll have no problem getting them answered on RCU or at a jet meet.

The P-120sx puts out a solid 30lbs thrust as advertised. The P-80 can be set up as propane or external kero start. It is a sweet motor with 22lbs thrust and a good value. The P-120sx is only internal kero start.

I found RT Hammer turbine 130Xl which is putting out 145N of thrust at 1600 euros(the same price as P80SE).What do youthink about that turbine? Is it reliable?I would like to get RT 130XLcuz I have 1600 euros right now and for P120SX I would have to save up for another 8 months.

P120se Only two turbine mfg thats well know in the US, One is honest with there service policy than the other. You don't want to shipped engine overseas for a starter replacment. P120se can work in both airframe. (MY OPINION)

Good luck

P120SX is an internal Kero start and the only one available now, I do belive that internally there is a cable that can be attached to an external Kero start if the internal fails, I have about 80 starts on mine and its still working OK so its just a precausion they have built in.

Hello,

you can buy the RT-Hammer here:
http://s294762374.online.de/shop/cat...aram=cid%3D%26
You can contact Matthias Jautsch from Jetzubehoer.de. He can help you.

But I can`t say something about the RT-Hammer. I haven`t seen any on the Jet-Meetings in Northern Germany.

Best regards,
Karsten

Dear AdriFlyBoy
try to get a Behotec 165 or 180 with internal Kerosin start. Starts very smooth. Has power like hell. The power you can be handle by reducing the top rpm or better by throttle stick.
You buy one turbine and can swep it over to other models you will get in the future.
In my opinion Behotec is worth the 100€more. Service is got. But I never used the service except in the case of a crash.

Kind regards

Skyblazer, jetcat p120sx and behotec 165 are out of choice now because I am tight on budget.
I decided to go with RT hammer 130XL.Is 130XL reliable?

Hi AdriFlyBoy
I locked at the price and it locks cheap. Please pay attention that you also buy less power(145N to 180N) with the same turbine weight.
It has no kerosine start.

I have never have seen this turbine in operation not in China and not in Europe.

The decision is up to you.

Kind regards

Barry mentioned this ad in "K170 debut"thread. But I am not sure.Anyway,I will not buy it cuz i am going to the seaside. Finally, vacation!
At this moment,I am pretty sure that I will buy JetCat P80SE but I will try to save up for P120SX or P160SX.I am planning to buy turbine in September-November.If nothing,I can't go wrong.P80SE for 1588 euros.

One more thing.I don't know who would buy P120SX when there is jet central cheetah, smaller, lighter and more powerful engine. And it is 400$ cheaper!
