Vogelsang. I got a quote a while back. Shipping was a killer, almost as much as the kit. I would love to have this plane, but the lack of landing gear, rudders and brakes kind of kills it for flying at an AMA field.... seems like those turbine requirements should have some wiggle room for a plane that belly lands.......

The rules currently state than 7.5 lbs, hand launch, no rudder, no landing gear= no brakes or rudder required..... I may get one if it isnt too outlandish on shipping. Vogelsang bills for everything.. I may wait and pick one up when I am in Germany this summer for work.

A buddy called vogelsang for a quote. Seems that shipping a second one is only another 70 bucks or so more than shippinng one. So find a friend and get two to get the shipping cost down. Looks like it is going to be about 2400 for two with the vector thrust add on. Not cheap but should be fun...

I'm thinking again about getting hold of one of these. I see that a 3D vector pipe is now available as an option.

Has anyone flown one? If so, what are your thoughts?
