FUTABA 12FG on F16 Channell problem.
Hi guys,
I'm facing a problem with my 12FG transmiter.
When i'm pushing the throttle stick to full power i have also an aileron movement...!!!This happens in all models i have stored in the tx.Also i can see this movement is servo monitor page in transmitter menu.I have no mixes on this plane.I don't know if i'm doing something wrong because i'm new in futaba transmitters. The software version on tx was the 1.3,i updated it to 1.5 and still have the same problem.
Why this happening?
Thanks in advance for any replies....!

Try creating a new model in memory and see if that does it also because when you create a new model you can reset all of the settings back to factory default settings, which in effect would be starting from scratch.

RE: FUTABA 12FG on F16 Channell problem.
I had that problem last year with my 12FG. I had a little power when applying full Rudder and a little Rudder with full elevator on all my models. I sent mine in to Futaba and the replaced at the gimbles and returned it to me and all is good. It cost I think about $400[&o] to have this done which sucked. Hope this helps.

If I were you I would upgrade to V1.6. I found operating the JR/Spectrum module rather suspect on v1.5 using the PPM option. The ailerons seem to link unexpectedly with other functions. There were no problems on FASST. It is not difficult doing the download for V1.6 and you will enjoy the additional functions. I have not found anything to complain about on V1.6. All the options perform exactly as programmed,
After a year and a half I am still learning how to use it. When you are new to it, be very careful when installing formulae or rate switches with 2 elevator/flap/aileron channels. You may find it only applies them to elevator 1 and not 2 which can lead to disastrous problems in the air. You can do virtually anything with this transmitter. The problem is one's own foolishness. Now I look at some of my early setups and say "Did I really do that?". My advice is work through all the possible variations, with the model fully assembled on the ground preferably with a friend watching before you fly. Make certain where 2 surfaces are meant to be in sync they really are in all possible formulae positions not just your favorite. Give yourself time. It takes a while to realize how much there is to learn!

RE: FUTABA 12FG on F16 Channell problem.
Just programmed a twin vectored thrust DF on the 12FG with aileron movements on the VT as well, can't belive how easy it was unsing only a seven channel Rx and with retracts and steerable nose wheel.

Hi PowerJet,
a friend of mine had the same problem you described.
He disconnected the accu for 30 minutes from the TX (recommended by robbe/futaba) and the problem was gone! The scenario came one time back and was fixed with same procedure.
Try it and post it
