Default Jetmeeting in Denmark, happy times :)

We have just completed a great weekend of flying here in Denmark, we had our annual "summer" meeting on Odense Airport.
We had for once, GREAT weather, and around 25 pilots showed up (there are 53 pilots with a waiver in the whole country, and not all are active )
Next big event for us is our 8 days "jetcamp" in the end of July. 1200 meter of asphalt, and lots of flying
We had group picture taken saturday evening, and I thought I would share this with you
(more pictures can be found at: http://jetdanmark.dk/e107_plugins/au....php?show=2010 (select gallery "Sommertræf Beldringe 2010")

Carsten Groen Hi,

Looks like a great site, and weather for your weekend, 8 Days Jetcamp will be Awesome, give you all chance to get Jet Burnout !!! Not often we can get that... lol.

Tell me, you mentioned using Q8 Outboard oil in the Elan thread, Do many people there run it ??? and any reason you picked Q8 over other brands ???

Cheers Jeremy.

Hi Jeremy,
Oh yes, it is great, grab a plane and join us (actually, the previous years we have visitors from Sweden, Norway and Germany as well)
It's correct, a lot of the pilots here use the Q8 Outboard oil, I think it was recommended many years ago as a substitute to the "real turbine oil", it is relatively cheap, and it is not near as harmfull!
So far everybody has good success with it (the engines that have been at JetCat got no bad feedback from the factory)

Carsten,

Wish i was free to come over, id be there in a Flash if i could... But im thinking about the future, and some overseas flying,
and as to what plane mite be easyest to travel with... Would be a good forum question i think !!!

So any reason you went with Q8, and not other brands of outboard oil, not sure i have seen Q8 in my country...
Have many other brands though...

PS, Nice pictures to...
Cheers Jeremy.

Jeremy,
I think many years ago, SimJet here in Denmark recommended the Q8 outboard oil to the guy's here and it has somehow just continued that way, when new people starts flying jets, they are recommended to use the Q8 oil from all the "old guys", and so it just keeps going. I would think (but don't know for sure!) that you could use the same type of oil, I think I wrote some of the specs in the Elan thread (and a picture of the bottle)
