Well.. This day finally came... After Hundreds and hundreds of flights on my old Boomer Elan, she was retired today.. It was mothballed with the radio gear, and fuel system in tact, but the motor will live in a T-one. You never know when or if it will be un-retired... It had several radio receivers in it as they evolved.. the final setup was a Jeti CB200/R3/Cortex with a Jets Munt 140.. That was the best motor I ever saw in it.. Tiny beast, would go straight up after takeoff, and land at a crawl. This one was so old, first Generation. It was a replacement of my first Elan, which I stupidly sold (and that one is still flying too) , survived a couple crash rebuilds, and 4 motors, several flameouts and ****ty landings, and a bag of landing gear parts...

So I won't say RIP, I will just say you never know when it will be needed again.. LOL
