R.A.F. Hawks Grounded
Just heard on the evening news that a number (If not all) of the Royal Air Force B.A. Hawks have been grounded (Including the Red Arrows) due to a potentialfault in the M.B.ejector seat mechanisim

The RAF’s fleet of Hawk training aircraft has been temporarily grounded pending individual inspections of each aircraft in light of an ejector seat issue that’s transpired in recent hours.
The fault was highlighted by engineers at RAF Valley in Wales – the RAF’s primary fast jet training site - on 27 July 2010. Being an all-embracing flight ban, it naturally extends to the Hawk aircraft flown by the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, as well as to Royal Navy Hawks operated at RNAS Culdrose in the South West of England.
“Safety of our air crews is of paramount importance”, a spokesperson for the MoD commented, adding: “Although there may be a minor disruption to training flights while we investigate, there will be no impact on operations.”
