ILLINI SUPER JETS 2010
OK guys Roll Call!!
Illini Super Jets is right around the corner and is shaping up to be a great event. We have made a Ton of additions to the field since last year. The biggest 2 being a cover shed in the pit area and a 60x100 hanger with bi-fold door for storage. We are really looking forward to the event and plan to have a ton of fun. Last year was great even with some crappy weather and we plan for this year to be even better. We also have power at the field now.

I will be there barring any travel plans changes to my return from Asia on the 25th.
Looking forward to probably the one and only jet event I will be able to attend this year.

I'm excited. In 48 hours David, me and the 2 boys(british labs) are leaving to do some serious damage up north. Missie is arranging the chocolate cake, I'm making the ice cream, Mr. Reid is plan on grilling fish and steaks and DP and Kim are cooking one night. Dawn will probably bring something fattening...her last cheese cake was the best I've had. Peter, I don't want to hear any of this "I'm not supposed to have any sugar stuff".I think we are supposed to do some flying in between meals and snakes. I see the weather is going to be perfect. DP is going to be pissed that I'm taking my F-100 back, but I'm leaving him another to dial in for me.

Pre-registration is in, leaving Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning. Looking forward to the event. Imagine......3 days of flying without cooking!!! See you soon!!!

Looks like there definitely won't be a shortage of sweet snacks especially since there's been a request for something from my kitchen as well!!
The waistlines will be suffering for sure after this weekend!kp

This is the address to the Monticello Railway Museum but the field sits right behind it. There will be signs posted that will get you to the entrance of the Eli Field.

This pretty much puts you at the entrance to the field... essentially the only backin' up required will be when you are getting the Big Dog situated for settling in for the stay!

Dave, the power at the field is it inside the building ? trying to decide what chargers to bring, looks like great weather for that area this weekend ! thanks
