Again a difficult panel, is has a hinge in it. On scale it is to little to make, this is my solution 
.
Cut little strips of 1mm aluminium.
On the plug.

Hi thomas, with a lot of patience 
. It is not so difficult, the hatches are cut with a knife and the hinges are made just like the previuos one.
Used a piece of sieve for the acces panel. The push buttons are made with a socket punch and have the right size, ofcourse.
Every time I am enjoying it more and more. After a light scratch with steel wool it lookes like this.

The first ventralfin is also ready.
Made two shells and folded the ends to get more stifness.
Also two alu bulkheads on the inside for stifness.
A nice brass profiel on the front, just like the real one and I will later finish it of with aluminium tape.
On the plug in a 15 degrees stand.

Over the top in details????? Eh I am building a scale model and than everything has to be there . I know You have to be a bit [sm=spinnyeyes.gif] to do this . Tell you what, until now I haven't missed a rivet.
With these details you won't look foolish on any competition
