Scale gap on the canopy, the cockpit is getting a bit of shape.

Have you calculated the load it need to withstand ...? I would say it's over built , therefore it's also heavier than needed imho .

I new it was overkill but also a test elevator and the next will be lighter.

Cleaned the surface after sanding and it looks like this, it is still wet of the turpentine.
