Which 3D printing system did you use?
How fine is the surface from the machine?

Looks very nice!

Thanks,

It's an ABS like plastic, printed with a SLA 'bottom up' 3D printer. What you see on the picture is untreated so the surface is very fine.

holy crap, just crazy wish I could buy one of these from you when you get a single seater built. May have to throw this thing on the bucket list instead of the scales jet one. Good job

You guys realize this whole project is a big joke, allot of work for nothing special. Unless Peter can find Dr. Frankenstein and build a 1/5 scale pilot that jumps in and takes it for a spin, because anything short of that would not be justice to this model, no it left the model stage some time ago. Just too cool!!!!

Terry,

I will check if a 1/8 scale light is possible to print, the cooling ribs on the backside will be too thin for printing but perhaps a few ribs les could be a solution. It can take a few wheeks while there is holiday here.

Looks awesome! Great detail.

I just got my shipment of 317 arresting hook forgings in for F-16's, 22 lbs of steel for each one! Our poor receiving guy had to hand count and move each one individually.
