Throttle curves for older WREN
Hey guy's
I have a Wren54 Mk2.5, and i noticed on the few flights that i have had with it that i'm up in the 85-95% mark on the throttle stick for most of the flight. I understand that turbines make most of their power up in that range, and that the newer ECU's have a bit of a throttle curve built into them to make the turbine thrust feel more linear.
I was hoping to try something similar with my turbine but done on via the TX. Has anyone done this before? and figures/curve points to start out on?
Thanks
dave

RE: Throttle curves for older WREN
Hey, I had one of those!! Although it may be closer to a 3.5 by now..... I tried once to adjust the throttle curve, but was not successful, but truthfully, I never put a lot of effort into making it work...

if you're currently running it linearly (0/50/100) just start playing with it till you get it like YOU like it, bump it up 10% (0/60/100) then fly, land and adjust accordingly..........if more then 3 points are necessary, add more.
