Count me in for a $100.

I think a bounty is a great idea!

Wow, obviously that dirtbag, Mike/Robin, has done this scam many times before. What a crock for him to try to scare you off with his phoney claims that you could be in trouble if you go to the police. This guy is sick!

Since he was selling on ebay, he would have to have a paypal account and a credit card listed. It really should not be too hard to locate him. He just thinks he's smart ... he isn't. He's just stupid and daring. Theft of items valued at $5,000 is a felony (anything above $750 is grand theft). He is looking at several charges, including international fraud and theft. Prison terms for this are in excess of 15 years.

My favourite trick is dressing up like a decent bloke waiting at an address for the delivery man.
In your case I nice brown UPS truck
Then I walk up to the delivery man and say.
hello I am Mr so and so, do you have a package for Mr so and so.
I am in a rush, I have to be at work in 10 mins.
They reply. Yes I do. I then show them a fake ID, END OF STORY

I would make sure that UPS knows this part, they and the other parcel services could shut this approach down.

I am going to London this weekend to visit my sister. I'll try to get hold of the twat that stole your goods from you. My sisters hubby is a K1 fighter and a para commando so should be able to dish out some pain.[sm=punching.gif]

This guy needs to feel pain for his ordasity, cheek and preeching!!!

That has made me f***ing mad that us decent hard working citizens have to live alongside and share the same air as this pond life.

Id be knocking on the door of UPS with this info & I wouldnt hesitate speaking to the police with this evidence.

Keep us posted because this guy must go down!

Hi just letting you know I have heard you got the police looking for me.
Thanks for the heads up
But none of that really maters.

Don't waste your time tracing me. as all communication via web was secured.
using mobile phone internet with pay and go sim, connection from un secured wifi.
socks server, and vpn to prevent any form of IP trace
posting address used was bogus. names all fake.
Small time USA to UK fraud don't go very far. feds are looking for the big fish. the suppliers the root. not me.

I choose my victims very care fully. You folks own $10,000 Jet Toys while lil kids are starving.
You should take some of that money you guys waste and help people in need that way god will bless you down the line.
These are ruff time.

Just take this loss as a crash RC Jet.
Have a drink and relax its not the end of the world.
Youtube shows you guys crash them all the time. tons of money down the drain.

Be careful reporting items to police. you declared posting value at gift and I have proof. and i Have more info about you than you have of me.
Thats a serious felony in the USA. Tax fraud,
Which is more serious there in the USA than here in the UK.
You can go to prison in the states for it

You should change your credit card payment gateway to one that does
AVS checking
Address Verification.
Only post to none usa buyers with paypal fully confirmed address.
Don't post until 2 to 3 days after paypal payment.
That way if its stolen, paypal will have plenty of time to annualise
and block payment

Paypal is the hardest system to fake for value over £100
best in the world

I'll pray for you so god will bless you in other forms,
Also some of your money has being donated to various charities. Some where out there a hungry child will have some food to eat.

love robin

I DON'T BELIEVE THAT THIS LIZARD IS YOUR THIEF, JUST ANOTHER ARSE WIPE WITH TALL POPPY SYNDROME, SCUMBAGS DON'T GIVE MONEY TO CHARITY

This has all of the makings for a new TV reality show that seems to be popular nowadays

It could be called "To catch a thief " after the 1955 Alfred Hitchcock movie, just think of the royalties you could get from the show.

The contestants would be show hunting down the low life scum... where in the end justice would be served

I sure hope this scum bag is caught

I still think my proposal is the best for making this piece of **** get what he deserves.
It would be so fun

Any news Todd?

Wow.
This guy really needs to get IT.

I suddenly thought of a movie with Michael Douglas playing a millionaire whos son got kinapped. They wanted 10 million or something in ransom and no police.
Well, he could do what they said and end up paying the money and may never see his son again, or do a twist. He went public and put the same 10 million as a price on the kidnappers heads knowing that someone must know them and rat them out for the money unless the returned the kid in good health right away.

I suggest you go the normal route with the police/ FBI etc, AND put a big price on his head.
I am sure this guy is involved with RC in UK, and I am also sure someone around him knows him and what he has been doing.
Put 4-5 or 6K on his head and let him know it. Only free ticket he gets is that he return both engines to you before the police gets him or someone he knows rats him out which will only be a matter of time.
Announce it on ALL the UK and European forums, marketplaces and maybe magazines to.

As for the money, in sure we easely could raise that kind of money in a few days here on this forum just for the pleassure of seeing this scumbag go down. It would actually be fun to have a live hunt thread on this forum watching the net tighten around him.

How about $100 donations? I'll be first in line. We only need 40-60 others to donate... I am sure it will be worth it.

Just a suggestion...

If you are reading this ''Robin'': I realy look forward to seeing you go down in flames! Geting paranoid yet??? Imagine the next days, weeks and months

Todd

I have a very close freind who is an ex Chief Inspector and is now working as a consultant for Scotland Yard, I will see if he is willing to give a hand.

If the donations are needed, put me down for $100 as well.

yea, did claude van damme or inspector Clueso catch up with him ?

Seriously though, the model jet world is relativley small, and these engines will end up flying at some point, so it will just be a matter of time. Unfortunatley the poor bugger caught using one is likely to be an innocent party to the theft.

any update?
Seems the MET Police are as useless as the Scum that stole the engines..... Took them over 5 weeks to run an IP address and close down on a location only to find the thief had already moved on.... Big surprise. I had provided them with more than enough information to catch this crook but they twaddled their pud instead of working the case. The update is I am out two engines []

Todd,

Apologies on their behalf. They probably had every available officer on my case ensuring I produced all my documentation at the police station after someone hit my car and drove off.....clearly it was me that should spend hours proving I owned the car that was hit! [:@]
