ORIGINAL: Selleri ORIGINAL: Dave Wilshere ORIGINAL: InboundLZ I think the ''Iceland'' scheme is one of the best color schemes I have seen yet....if I ever have to replace my T-Birds Flash ( knock on wood...) I would get that scheme for sure! This is where it was born from... Dave I second the motion that here after it will be refered to as the "Iceland" scheme. Brgds, Ingolfur. |

Guys,
I'm planing a trip to US and I'm considering to purchase an Ultra Flash. Can somebody tell me the box size? I need this information to confirm the airlines can transport it as checked baggage. Usually they have a limit of a maximum of 100 inches (length, width, high). Regards. |
RE: C-ARF Ultra Flash build Thread + Video
Its way too big for most airlines!

RE: C-ARF Ultra Flash build Thread + Video

Olá Ricardinho,
I did remember to see you in other discussion. I live close to Sao paulo. I will be in Florida for the Florida Jets 2012 and would like to take this opportunity to by another jet, an upgrade from my boomerang sprint but I'm afraid the jets in the 12-16kg class will be big enought to be not accepted by the airlines. Regards, Mucio |

Be a brilliant combo. I was flying my P-120SX version again today and its fabulous, little bit more power would be fine, without the silly power from a P-160.
Gray day, but few photos from RCJi's new trainee photographer, first time with camera... |

RE: C-ARF Ultra Flash build Thread + Video
ORIGINAL: Rob Howarth Give it a break Dave, 160 power is only 'silly' in silly hands. i sold my classic last summer and just got it back a few weeks ago (to do a repair) and i've been flying it again the last two weekends, it's got a 160 and to me it now seams slow :( give me a 180RX to shoehorn in there!!! |
RE: C-ARF Ultra Flash build Thread + Video
Jetpower,
I'm putting a 140RX in one. Just finished the motor/bypass installation and it was a drop in fit. At the rate I build and the weather up here in darkest Scotland it will be the spring before it flies. Malcolm |

After a false start a while back due to a faulty fuel solenoid, followed by heavy work commitments, I finally got to maiden my UF this weekend. Here's some video of it....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKLYdFpO6G4 All good... only minor trim adjustments needed. The UF performed beautifully! Just an iPhone video, and it overexposed a large chunk of it, but you get the idea. This plane is.seriously.FAST! |
RE: C-ARF Ultra Flash build Thread + Video
Do you think this gear will fit well in the UF?
http://www.behotec.de/xtcommerce/pro...for-Flash.html I think this legs will resist better the landing impacts and they will mantain straight easily, better than the AT legs. Thanks |

nice landing !
tks for sharing your video with us! wonder how dose it look like under your UF? care to show me a picture of it? yiming |
RE: C-ARF Ultra Flash build Thread + Video
Does anyone experience tension between wing and fuselage?
Seems the white inlet duct is the cause of trouble. No adjustment can be made except removing it and that is not an option! |

RE: C-ARF Ultra Flash build Thread + Video
Question for the UF masters.. What is the difference between the Behotec C36 and C36/2 retract units??? I have a new UF on the way and already purchased the PRO LINK main strits drilled for the 6mm pins. I want to make sure I order the correct set.. I would also like to order the CARF nose Strut, 6mm main pins, 6mm nose gear pin and the collar and the Intarico main wheels and brakes.. Anyone have this pkg ?? Ill buy now.. Thanks Doug |
RE: C-ARF Ultra Flash build Thread + Video
The C36 is air up/spring down. 36/2 air up/down. Better for UF as the wheels can stay in the wing and fuse in storage and transport.
36/2 is what You want...also the 36 has a much longer cylinder. TP. |
