Great pics!

Mick was taking the p1ss out of my pilots but that last picture confirms the saying ''Those in glass houses.........'' :D

Pin head comes to mind :D.... The pilot figure I mean not the pilot

Never an opportunity missed hey?! :)

His oleo/retract pin must have been made from steel as opposed to the cheese one I had :D :D

Mick has done extensive in the field research, and found that steel was no good. Titanium only just about lasted... In the end, he finally found a metal that would withstand the landing loads. "Unobtainium" seems to be the chosen MickB retract material. :D
Careful Mark S. ;)

Here I am giving it large..... Just to knock myself down again.. here is a photo of Alex's L-39 leg after I had worked my magic on it [:@] ... Sorry Alex :(

Great pictures mate you should take it up for a living.
Cheers Mick, I'm not sure how big the market is for rc model photographers only but I'm always willing to take photographs if someone wants to pay for my travel and upkeep. :D

Next up a Futura with a slight twist, Dom's eFutura, it was able to move about quite nicely. Good job mate!

Alex's SM L-39 with Merlin 140. As can be seen Alex doesn't believe in all that new techno stuff and likes the old school stuff better. :D

No worries Al you can always send me a Futaba 351 gyro if it helps you sleep at night ;), it desperately needs it's new inner gear doors though and a gyro judging by the video on YT of it. Have those spares turned up in the F86 box?

I have been told thats what being a Boeing bus driver does for you. Apparently now he's switching over to the Scarebus, he is going to come over all limp wristed. I am sure he can build some of that muscle strength up by lifting one on my build invoices up and down the stairs a few times. :D

Next up is the Cmelak by Airworld, interesting model that always seem to draw a crowd when it appears. Some may remember [link=http://modelflug.net/myndir/displayimage.php?album=10&pos=5]the pink one Stuart Mackay[/link] had (still has?) some years ago. This one has been modded to represent the turboprop version and I believe the SPT5 has quite a big prop as it's really quiet. One can't really do the airframe justice without lot of pictures. ;)

Glad I didn't break that one! Thanks Sverrir.

eFutura...sorry 'Henry'...is coming back together after breaking its nose off. I don't really have the patience to do fill, sand, fill, sand...but its getting there. Nose was in about 15 little pieces so I'm not surprised its not spot on. More fill, sand, bit of vinyl and it should look OK at 100 feet if you close one eye and squint with the other. Otherwise just waiting to get the broken retract units back from Horizon to see if they honour the warranty (kidding - fully expecting to pay for repairs)

Maybe we could have a nice harrier style ramp at the end of the runway next year...just for me!

Kudos to you Dom for pulling that all back together so quickly.

I was particularly disappointed you didn't use the smoke system on the big extra - although one disaster per weekend is probably enough for you :D

Yeah, sorry about that. If you hadn't mentioned the possibility that it could totally trash the airframe I would have done it. Remember ignorance is bliss. You need to keep stum next time ;)
