Well guys my jet showed up today via DHL and as advertised only took 4 days from the day shipped to my door. I have lots of Pics and some video as long as I can upload them to start things out.
The boxes had no damage after inspecting it and the jet was very well packed all inside was costume designed for the jet.

Pics will be slow coming since they are all High Quality and can only load a few at a time.

Yelp aggressor and I am this! wish I had a mamouth but this will have to do!

Also I think I have the 1st set of wing stores FEJ makes for the 1/6 scale, I am super happy they make the MK 82:)

Im worried I will not be able to fly them on they jet due to weight, I need to see what a flyable wing stores weight is.

Also I will be doing a detailed weighing tonight as well.

As far as the armament, all the guys i grew up with jets or warbirds w/ armament always told me. "never put it all on and fly, fly each ordnance item on the model seperately to see how it changes the flight characteristics, and then start doing combo's to see how it changes". This has served me well, as i've had a few models over the years that would fly with most of it, but when ALL of it was added, they became a handful!

The paint looks good but I've always been partial to the Alaska scheme.

You are bringing it to Kentucky, of course? You've got almost two weeks between now and the event so there's more than enough time (I built a Eurosport in 32 hours - started Sat noon and finished it Sunday evening).

Regards,

Jim

Bean,

Looking good amigo! The bomb is actually not a mk82, but a larger variant.http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/smart/jdam.htm
The 82's were commonly hung in 3's on a TER on stations 3 & 7 on the viper. (or singles if there's not enough stuff to blow up on that sortie)The giveaway is the size - a mk82 would appear shorter than your sidewinders. Really cool ordnance you got tho! Looking forward to meeting you in KY. Brawley "goose22" is a great resource here on RCU for all things Viper as he used to drive them.
